Result from The Electron Race

On Wednesday the 14th of June, the first ever The Electron Race took place. A total of 68 people made their way around the three kilometer long track. Awards were given to the three fastest women, three fastest men and the fittest department.

Fittest department

The prize for fittest department was claimed by the department of Information Science and Engineering which won a convincing victory, scoring more than double compared to the runner-up. The fittest department was calculated using a formula design by Patrik Hilber.

Winners

On the ladies side, Konstantina Bitsi crossed the finishing line first after 15 minutes and 38 seconds. Moments later, runner-up Marie Maros and second runner-up Emma Tegling joined her.

In the men’s category, Fredrik Sjöberg earned the title of fastest man with an impressive time of 12 minutes and 6 seconds. Runner-up was Manne Henriksson and second runner-up was Elis Nycander.
